Bridal Make Up Service

As a bride you’ll want to look your best on your wedding day, whilst still looking like you! As a professional I have been trained to enhance your features and make you look great in front of the camera. After all, your wedding day will be captured and remembered in all the photographs taken and you only have one shot at getting it right! I have done many weddings ranging in size from just the bride to large parties including bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom.

Pre-Wedding Consultation

It is essential that all brides have a pre-wedding consultation. This is a time where we can discuss everything from the style of the dress, colour scheme and the “look” you wish to create. This usually lasts 2 hours, and once you are happy, everything will be documented, so that on the day of the wedding there is no stress or confusion as to the final look. It is highly recommended that you look through bridal magazines to give yourself an idea of what “look” you actually want to achieve. Because many Brides have difficulty conveying this, and as they say… a picture says a thousand words.

Your Big Day

On the day of your wedding there will be no need to be rushing off to a salon, I will come to you at your chosen venue. Whether it is your home, hotel or wherever you need me to be. This is your time to sit and relax and start enjoying all the planning and hard-work you’ve put into the wedding over the last few months! If your bridesmaids & mother of the bride are also having their make-up done then we will work to a schedule in order to create a calm relaxed environment.

I advise Brides to have your make-up done before your hair, so I don’t disturb what the hair-dresser has created for you. It is also a good idea to aim to be completely ready about an hour before you want to get your dress on and be ready for the photographer. Don’t worry if this turns out to be very early on in the day, your make-up will look as good from dawn till dusk.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to turn your attention to your Eye Brows and Complexion in the months leading up to your wedding day. So please feel free to discuss with me any way I can help you in those areas.

You may also like to consider a day of complete bliss to be allocated to the day before your wedding involving massage, manicures and pedicures, spray tans etc… As these treatments will give you the well-groomed look you will be aiming to achieve and shouldn’t be overlooked.

Finally – you may also like to think about having your Teeth Whitened, to add that extra little bit of sparkle to the photographs.
